CHARDEC has been responding to emergency calls in affected areas such as Karamonja in Northern Uganda, Isiolo and Marsabit In Northern Kenya and Mwanza in Tanzania. We have distributed more than 500,000 $ USD relief since 2019. Our relief items include food, clothes, home equipment and health services. We have managed to rescue more than 700,000 people with relief assistance in both Uganda and Kenya.

As a team, we have always delivered deep hand water pumps in dry areas to enable the communities to get access to clean water. Most of the communities lack clean water which affects their lives and also domestic animals are affected. As a team we drill a deep water pump of about 100feet that serves more than a 1000 people in a community
We are currently running emergency aid to affected countries such as Sunday and Kenya. We distribute food aid parcels, clothes and home utensils to displaced families. We give each family food parcel containing flour, rice, cooking oil, salt, milk, beans and soap to enable them use as they look for jobs and also relocating in better places
CHARDEC has been providing assistance of scholastic materials and medication to both half and full orphans in their localities. We always provide them with food, clothes, books, uniforms and pay up their tuitions in their localities for every term and we target children of age 5years to 25years. We are currently running this program and so far we have covered 427 orphans.
As a team, we have managed to coordinate with international partners plus individual donors who have provided us with resources that have enabled our organization to construct more than 240 new mosques, 17 schools etc.
CHARDEC has been carrying out empowerment programs and these included boosting youth and single mothers with small business that can generate for them income to support their children at school and home. Most of the single mothers in Uganda are involved in sex trade in such of survive and tuition for their children.
During the Holy months of Ramadan, we always distribute food packs to zakat eligible fasting needy in Uganda and Tanzania. We have so far distributed 6,500 Qurbani Cows and 160,000 Ramadan food packs to the fasting needy Muslims in the last 5years
